Hate those HPT commercials!!

ME TOO! I cry almost daily when I see one…no matter WHAT the outcome. I think I did see one once when the couple had a negative & the husband said, "Maybe next time, honey." or something like that. Did anyone watch the Mad About You finale last night. Jamie has a m/c & I cried until I hurt! — Kim Emory

I also hate that ortho-tricyclen (sp?) birth control commercial where the girl is like, "Someday we’ll have so many children, but for now I want clear skin!" Pah! Were we ever that innocent?

Actually I have seen a commercial like that,last year I think.The husband hugged the disappointed wife and said they could try again the next month or something like that.here was a series of these commercials ,and alot of the couples DID get +’s but the occassional one didn’t. I forget which test it was though. Quinn In Chicago(suffering from secondary infertility for the last 4 years)

Did anyone watch the Mad About You finale last night. Jamie has a m/c & I cried until I hurt! Yes, I watched the finale. I usually only watch the reruns in syndication and hadn’t watched the "prime time" Mad About You in a long time. I cried, too, as I am sure did a lot of us! Rea ^ ^i^’s
That was the ONLY good (and believable) part of the finale. What a bad ending to a great show. ~Karen Splendora, TX

Yes, I watched the finale. I usually only watch the reruns in syndication and hadn’t watched the "prime time" Mad About You in a long time. I cried, too, as I am sure did a lot of us! Rea ^ ^i^’s

Unfortunately, yes. I think at one time we ALL took motherhood for granted and just expected it to happen when we were ready. But the commercials are hurtful to those of us whose prophecy has yet to come true. Rea

Yep, I hate them too…. I always start telling myself that they will make bad parents because of her bad haircut, (she obviously has bad taste!) or his bad teeth, (poor hygiene!) or the nasal way she talks (not classy!)….stupid stuff…but…it’s just jealousy! and I hate it….I use the zapper now all thru Young and the Restless! Kristin I am with you, goodness I hate those things especially after you take one and get that big ole fat negative. Please vent away about them I am sure that were not alone. Oh my God… me too!!!! You always know theyre gonna get a positive…. and it seems theyre dumb if they get there, the commercial, and DONT know theyre ~^~ Debbie ~^~ Male Factor…..Moving Onto DI Isn’t Life Wonderful? I Tend To Think So!
